Editorial policy

Articles are written for family caregivers. They prefer public medical sources, and they leave out claims that cannot be sourced.

Who the articles are for

Each guide is written for an adult looking after someone at home in Nepal: a parent, a spouse, or a relative recovering after hospital. The language stays plain. Clinic jargon is explained when it has to appear.

Sources

The editorial team prefers guidance from the World Health Organization, government health agencies, and recognised clinical organisations. Links to those sources sit at the end of each article.

Statistics, medicine names, and emergency advice are not invented. If a claim cannot be tied to a public source, it is left out.

What the pages will not say

HomeCareNepal does not invent patient stories or staff credentials. Pages are not marked medically reviewed unless a named clinician has actually reviewed them.

The articles do not diagnose. They do not rank clinics, sell devices, or tell you to replace a prescribed medicine with a home remedy.

Corrections

If a correction is needed, the article file is updated and the updated date in the article header changes with it. There is no separate corrections log.
